Executive Chef Megan Done

Chef Megan Done came from humble beginnings.  Her mother began teaching her to cook at an early age, learning such dishes as Danish ebelskivers, traditional French soufflés, and roasted rack of lamb.  This is when she really began to understand the power of food, how it connects us to one another in a more meaningful and ever evolving way.  While still attending high school, Chef Megan’s first kitchen job was making sandwiches and soups at Strawberry Café.  In 2010, she decided to hone her craft and enrolled in culinary school through the IOT program.  After graduating two years later, she started an internship with Dicicco’s, eventually becoming their lead line cook.

Chef Megan Done eventually found her culinary home with Hotel Piccadilly in May of 2016.  Beginning her journey as a line cook, she eventually worked her way up to Executive Chef in November of 2018.  Chef Megan has been an integral part in the development of the Mochuelo menu and is responsible for the creation of our famous Salted Caramel Bread Pudding.  She continues to create fresh seasonal items which quickly become favorites amongst Mochuelo guests and staff alike.  Chef Megan continues to let the spirit of Spanish tapas thrive and guide her in the evolution of ever changing, yet always tasty creations Mochuelo brings to your table and hearts.
